Georgiana

This elegant linen fabric featuring a stylised poppy has had many adaptations through its life span. It was first produced as an 18th century Indienne cotton, then by the turn of the 20th century this simple pattern caught the eye of the retailer Harvey Nichols. The design was redrawn to emphasize the berries and the scrolling trunk, and was the precursor to the Art Deco jazz age.
